Love Serving Autism - Community Collaborative Adaptive Tennis Program

This program requires approval by a UCF CARD Autism Disorders Specialist to make sure the program is a good fit for your child and your child is a good fit for the program.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines Implemented

Beginning Thursday June 17th through Thursday July 22nd. Total of 6 classes

Meeting dates: Thursday, June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15 and July 22

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines Implemented

8 - 12 yr old: 5:30PM - 6:15PM

13-18 yr old: 6:15PM-7:00PM

UCF CARD Constituents cost for 6 lesson: $40

PALS is subsidizing UCF CARD Constituents: $20 | Total Cost for 6 lesson: $60

Criteria: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD MEETS THIS CRITERIA TO PARTICIPATE

  • Your child can listen, learn and follow through with directions, rules and then apply them.
  • Your child can pay attention during training, wait his/her turn and comprehend basic rules of the games.
  • Your child can change directions while running and understand left/right direction along with forward/backward.
  • Your child can get through practice/game with limited redirection.
  • Your child can respond positively to coaching, as well as instructions and guidance from teammates.
  • Your child has functional communication skills.
  • Your child does not have physical or verbal aggressive behavior and is in a good state of mind.
  • Your child does not require 1:1 support

If a participant requires high support to be successful in the program he/she may be released from this program and possibly be suggested to be a candidate for another program.
